Prabowo chats with students about their future in Jakarta school visit
President Prabowo Subianto held a dialogue with members of the Intra-School Student Organization (OSIS) at SMPN 111 Jakarta about their future plans during a monitoring visit of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program in Jakarta
"The President asked about our dreams, age, and also grade," Head of OSIS, Diana Putri, said after the dialogue, said as quoted in a press release issued by the Presidential Secretariat’s BPMI.
During the meeting, the members shared their dreams and aspirations. President Prabowo also advised the students to persevere their education and continue honing their skills to achieve their goals.
"The President advised us to remain enthusiastic about learning and to continue to strive as hard as possible to achieve our goals," a student, Rafa said.
Students at SMPN 111 Jakarta expressed enthusiasm over Prabowo’s visit. Eighth-grade students Nabila Andita and Nindira Safira said they were proud to see the Indonesian president in person at their school.
Regarding the MBG program, the students gave positive feedback, saying the meals were tasty and that they directly benefited from the program. “It’s good and delicious. We like it. I really admire President Prabowo,” Nabila said.
The President’s visit to SMPN 111 Jakarta is part of a series of government efforts to ensure the implementation of the MBG program is on track.
The government hopes that MBG program will support the learning process for students in all schools across Indonesia.
